Nestled amidst lush green hills, the hotel offers a picturesque backdrop for a getaway. The serene location pairs beautifully with the stunning architecture, making your surroundings enjoyable without it feeling overly ostentatious. I appreciated the overhead fan in my room and the thoughtful do not disturb/button clean feature, which added a personal touch. As a travel writer fond of culinary delights, the half-board culinary option hit the mark-good food, though not exceptional. The yoga sessions on the beach were a highlight, making it easy to unwind. The welcome drink and complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival set a pleasant tone. Be mindful that this isn't solely an adults-only haven. While the adults-only pool is tiny, expect to be surrounded by children throughout your stay, even during quieter months like September. Service varied, at times lacking attentiveness, which is a crucial area for improvement given the hotel's potential for luxury. The stunning design and amenities offer reasonable value for the experience, but prepare for the possibility of less-than-ideal service and the presence of families.
